India- Portugal Technology Summit

From 7 to 9 December will take place the India-Portugal Technology Summit. The event will be online and it will feature High-Level participations, including the Ministers of Science of Portugal and India, and will bring together representatives from academia and industry from both countries, enabling the creation of bilateral partnerships in science and technology, as well as strengthening already existing networks in the most varied areas of knowledge, namely:

  • Watertech,
  • Agritech,
  • Healthtech,
  • Energy,
  • Climate change,
  • Cleantech,
  • IT, ICT & Advanced technologies,
  • Space-Ocean Interactions.

During the 3 days of the Summit, in addition to the High-Level Plenaries, thematic sessions, Tech Talks / Business Presentations will take place, including B2B meetings. A virtual exhibition will also be inaugurated during the Summit, where institutions from both countries will be able to present their areas of expertise.

FCT invites the scientific community to attend and actively participate in the Summit, through prior registration on the event’s webpage.

The India-Portugal Summit is organized by the Government of the Republic of India through the Department of Science & Technology and the Confederation of Indian Industry, with the Foundation for Science and Technology being the Portuguese institution responsible for coordinating the Summit’s national participation, in collaboration with the National Innovation Agency, Portugal Space, and the AIR Centre.
