EUROPEAN COMMISSION PROMOTES EVENTS DEDICATED TO EU MISSIONS

May 17th, 18th and 19th, digital format

The European Commission (EC) is organising three events dedicated to the 2022 calls within Horizon Europe Missions promoted by the European Union. The 2022 calls of the Horizon Europe Work Programme will be published on the Funding and Tenders Portal on May 12th. The total budget available for these tenders is around 630M€, spread across 34 topics. The submission of applications will run until September 2022.

In this framework, the European Commission is organising two infodays online with the aim of providing specific information on the tenders, funding opportunities and submission deadlines. The event is scheduled for May 17th and 18th and is aimed at potential candidates for the competitions.

Also in this context, the Horizon Europe Network of National Contact Points, Bridge2HE, is promoting a virtual Brokerage event, scheduled for May 19th. The main objective of this event is to bring together all those interested in tendering for the 2022 Missions calls and to facilitate the formation of international consortia, an essential condition for submitting an application for these calls. In order to enhance the event, the organisation calls on participants to register well in advance so that they can set up meetings with potential partners.

These initiatives are aimed at Universities, research centres, NGOs, companies, City Councils, RCDCs, associations, Clusters, CoLABs, Hubs and other institutions involved in R&D.

European Union Missions are a new way of bringing concrete solutions to some of society’s biggest challenges. With ambitious targets, these missions will deliver concrete results on health, climate and environment by 2030.

See the infodays Programme here.

Register for the Brokerage event here by May 17th. (Don’t forget to add in your profile what you want or what you can offer within the calls/topics you are interested in).
