EUROPEAN INNOVATION COUNCIL ORGANIZES ITS FIRST SUMMIT

November 24th-25th, hybrid format

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is organising its first summit. The event, which offers participants the opportunity to connect with investors and establish partners networks, will be taking place on November 24th-25th.

The EIC Summit is intended for European start-ups and innovators, particularly SMEs, researchers and companies, as well as potential investors and venture capital. The event will allow them to explore key policy updates, with tips on patents and intellectual property rights. Technology transfer and new pitching techniques will be discussed, and the winners of the European Innovation Procurement Awards will be announced. Participants will also be able to learn more about the EIC Fund and delve into many other topics relevant to the EIC community.

Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, will also officially launch the EIC Forum and announce the winners of the Prize for Women Innovators and the iCapital Award.

The summit will take place in hybrid format, with the possibility of participating online or in person, in Brussels.

Launched in March 2021, the EIC is Europe’s leading innovation programme, and aims to identify and support cutting-edge technologies and disruptive innovation.
