Call 2025 of the European Partnership “Chips Joint Undertaking” opens
The conditions for national co-funding by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) for the Research and Innovation (R&I) Calls the ECS(Electronic Components and Systems) component of the 2025 Work Program of the European Chips Joint Undertaking Partnership have been published.
The 2025 R&I Calls the ECS component may receive national co-financing from the FCT of up to 3.5 million euros. This Call is aimed at national beneficiaries who coordinate or are partners in an international Chips JU consortium, namely non-business entities in the R&I system (ENESII) and companies.
Applications must be submitted in two phases: by April 29 (first phase) and by September 17, 2025 (second phase).
The national co-financing of these activities is part of the National Strategy for Semiconductors, to be implemented by FCT and the National Innovation Agency.
