The EMBO webinar on “Funding opportunities in the life sciences” will be held on March 12, 2025. The main objective of this initiative is to provide information to doctoral and master’s Studentships , recent postdoctoral graduates and new postdoctoral graduates about the postdoctoral Studentships program, scientific exchange Studentships and the EMBO Association’s program of courses and workshops. Other opportunities will also be announced, such as the Young Researchers Program and the Installation Grants.

The EMBO Association is an international organization supported by 37 European countries that aims to fund researchers and support conferences, training and networking activities in order to create an environment in which scientists excel.

EMBO’s post-doctoral Studentships include a salary or allowance for a maximum of two years and cover travel and subsistence expenses for exchanges. International mobility is an essential requirement.

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) supports and accompanies the participation of the scientific and technological community in international organizations of which Portugal is a member. The benefits for the scientific and technological community include access for national teams to international scientific infrastructures, increased competitiveness for industry, access to training programs and Calls for scientific or management positions in the different organizations.

This webinar will take place on March 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (mainland Portugal time) and is subject to prior registration.
