Call for contributions: European Science Diplomacy
The European Commission has launched a call for expressions of interest for participation in the five working groups on Science Diplomacy, aimed at developing the basis for a European framework on this topic.
The main aim of setting up these groups is to create a network of relevant actors in an innovative format and to draw up recommendations through a process of co-creation. Each informal working group should be made up of around 20 members (ideally drawn equally from both the scientific community and the diplomatic sphere), who should participate in a personal capacity and not as representatives of their affiliated institutions.
Participation in the working groups is unpaid and it is expected that there will be a meeting every 6-8 weeks between November 2023 and June 2024. The deadline for this call is October 31, 2023.
