Strengthening the All-Atlantic Marine Research & Innovation Community

The All-Atlantic2021 “All-Atlantic R&I for a Sustainable Ocean: Ministerial High-Level & Stakeholders Conference” launches a survey to identify and characterize stakeholders interested in promoting marine Research and Innovation (R&I) at the All-Atlantic level and, therefore, strengthen the All-Atlantic Marine Research & Innovation Community.

The survey aims to facilitate the identification of marine Research & Innovation stakeholders contributing to enhance marine research and innovation cooperation in the Atlantic Ocean, from pole to pole. The list will be used to identify stakeholders that could contribute and participate in the All-Atlantic2021 Conference including in its pledging activity and external side events back-to-back with the High-level and Stakeholders Conference.

The information collected in the survey can also be used to feed a database accessible through the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance Portal. This list should include stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, from governmental institutions, research institutions, industry, civil society, whose work, expertise, and experience are relevant to enhance transatlantic cooperation in the Conference scientific areas and strategic objectives.

The All-Atlantic2021Conference will take place under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in close cooperation with the European Commission, from 3 – 4 June 2021, in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, and aims to support the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance by strengthening R&I cooperation across and along the Atlantic Ocean, from along and across the Atlantic Ocean.

The survey is available at here.
