Call to acquire a new world-class supercomputer in Portugal

The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and the Minho Advanced Computing Centre (MACC) have launched a call for tender for the procurement of a petascale supercomputer, capable of executing more than one Petaflop, or 1 million billion calculations per second.

CEF Telecom call on electronic Identification and Signature

The CEF Telecom eIdentification & eSignature call is now open, offering €3 million to address the cross-border authentication of eIDs and the uptake and use of electronic signatures. Interested applicants from all EU Member States, as well as from Iceland and Norway, may submit their proposals until 20 May 2020.

The deadline for the first 2020 CEF Telecom call is extended: Over €31 million available until 25 June

The deadline for the 2020-1 Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom call for proposals is now extended until 25 June to give more time for applicants to prepare their proposals. Co-funding to stimulate and support the deployment of European Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs) is offered in the areas of Automated Translation, Blockchain, eDelivery, eIdentification & eSignature, European Platform for Digital Skills and Jobs, Europeana and Safer Internet. Up to €31.4 million is available to create full cross-border digital infrastructure, in areas of public interest.
