CMU Portugal’s Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs
The CMU Portugal Program has open, until June 2nd, the application period for the 2023 edition of the Visiting Faculty & Researchers and Visiting Students Programs that intend to provide an immersion period at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), in Pittsburgh.
The CMU Portugal Visiting Faculty & Researchers Program is aimed at PhD holders at the time of application and affiliated with a Portuguese Higher Education Institution or Research Laboratory, and aims to provide an immersion period of 2 weeks to 2 months at Carnegie Mellon University, where they will be able to develop research, education and innovation work with colleagues at Carnegie Mellon University. The Visiting Students Program, on the other hand, provides an immersion period of 1 to 3 months at Carnegie Mellon University to Master’s or Master’s students who have obtained their degree within the last 5 years in Portugal and in areas related to ICT. While at Carnegie Mellon University the candidates will be mentored by faculty and researchers from the American university and will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Carnegie Mellon culture.
