FCT supports Studentships Fulbright research and doctorates 2024/25
Applications to Studentships Fulbright for Doctorates and Studentships Fulbright for Research, which are supported by FCT, are open until January 31, 2024.
The Studentships Fulbright Doctoral Program is aimed at students who are going to attend the first year of a full-time doctoral program at an accredited university in the United States of America, starting in the academic year 2024/2025. Preference will be given to students whose academic career has been developed at a Portuguese higher education institution.
The Studentships Fulbright Research Program is aimed at doctoral fellows directly funded by the FCT who have planned, as part of their training plan, to carry out a period of research at a US university or research center, and covers all areas of study. This Studentship lasts from 4 to 9 months. The selected candidates receive support from the FCT and Fulbright, which provides them with complementary health and accident insurance for the duration of the Studentship period, as well as issuing the necessary documents for the J-1 visa, among other benefits.
