FCT represented at “Priorities for Science Funding” workshop

EU-Angola Dialogue Facility event

FCT is taking part in the “Priorities for Science Funding” workshop, which will be held on January 16 in the Angolan capital, Luanda. This will be the third and final hybrid workshop on the theme of “South-South Dialogues”, the aim of which is to involve the academic and scientific communities of Angola, Mozambique and Portugal.

The event is part of the Action “Funding policies and practices for glocal, ethical, innovative and relevant science and technology: dialogues between Angola, Mozambique and Portugal”, approved by the EU-Angola Dialogue Facility program. This is a project funded by the European Development Fund, coordinated by Angola’s Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (FUNDECIT) and the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), with the participation of Mozambique’s National Research Fund (FNI).

The action aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences, in an effort to foster cooperation and dialogue between Africa and Europe, between the three partner funding agencies and the scientific communities of the respective countries.
