#EUvsVirus – Pan-European hackathon

The European Commission is organising a pan European Hackathon aiming at developing innovative solutions for coronavirus-related challenges. The event will take place from the 24th to the 26th April 2020 and is open to the European community of innovators, start-ups, makers, retailers, public and private buyers, end users etc. #EUvsVirus hackathon is co-organised by the European Commission with a number of Member States.

The Hackathon is structured around 6 categories of problems that need short-term solutions in relation to coronavirus health and life, business continuity, remote working and education, social & political cohesion, digital finance and an open category for other challenges. Each of these 6 categories will cover 6 challenges.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellows could participate as members of hackathon teams, as well as mentors for some of these teams (registrations are already open!).

MSCA fellows can also propose challenges by submitting their contribution via the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/EUvsCrisis_challenges
