Call in Studentships of PhD in all Scientific Domains 2024
The Call for assigning Studentships of Research for PhD in all Scientific Domains 2024, in the General Line and in a Non-Academic Environment . Applications for this Call annual funding, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), ends for both lines of funding on April 18, 2024.
The 1500 vacancies for Studentships of Research for Doctorate are intended for candidates enrolled, or who meet the necessary conditions to enroll, in a study cycle leading to obtaining the academic degree of doctor and who intend to develop research activities leading to obtaining that degree.
The global investment foreseen under this Call is 124 million euros (87 million euros for the general application line and 37 million euros for the Non-Academic Environment application line), with an increase in funding and vacancies for this specific line of applications.
This is the 3rd edition of Call in Studentships PhD with a line for Non-academic Environment, which includes: companies; collaborative laboratories; technology and innovation centers and other interface centers; public administration entities or third sector entities such as museums, hospitals, associations from different areas (environment, culture, sport); and non-governmental organizations.
FCT keeps an expression of interest permanently available for hosting doctoral students by non-academic entities, the list of which is available for consultation by potential candidates, and they can then jointly articulate the work plan to be presented in the application.
