European Statistics Awards stimulate innovation in the field of Web Intelligence
Eurostat has launched the Call Web Intelligence – Classification of occupations for online job advertisements challenge (WI Classification Challenge) – as part of the European Statistical Awards Program, starting in June 2024.
Call aims to stimulate innovation in the field of Web Intelligence for European statistics.The Classification Challenge focuses on developing approaches that learn to assign a class label (from a known taxonomy) to job advertisements from a given set of job advertisement data.
Aimed at anyone who can program in Python or R, individually or in a team (maximum of 5 people), these prizes totaling 25,000 euros will be awarded as follows: 10,000 euros for the Accuracy prize; 10,000 euros for the Reuse prize and 5,000 euros for the Innovation prize.
