Annual Report 2023 on the European Union’s R&TD activities published
The European Commission has published the latest edition of the “Annual Report on EU Research and Technological Development Activities and Monitoring of Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020 in 2023” (versions available in all official EU languages).
A significant part of the annual report is dedicated to policy activities related to research in 2023, with a focus on the EU’s open strategic autonomy, economic security and international cooperation, as well as support for Ukrainian researchers. As far as monitoring is concerned, the results and performance of the different parts of Horizon Europe and the Euratom program in 2023 are analyzed in more detail.
FCT coordinates Portuguese representation and participation in the Scientific Excellence Pillar and the Widening&ERA Pillar of Horizon Europe and the Euratom program.
