Call 2024 Clean Energy Transition Partnership supports transnational research and innovation projects
The co-funded European Partnership Clean Energy Transition (CETP) is launching the 3rd edition of Call to fund transnational research and innovation projects. The submission of pre-proposals will run from 09:00 (mainland Portugal time) on September 19 until 13:00 on November 21, 2024.
Call will support research and/or innovation projects, promoted by transnational consortia, around the seven CETP Transition Initiatives (TRIs): TRI1 – Integrated net-zero-emissions energy system; TRI2 – Enhanced zero emission power technologies; TRI 3 – Enabling climate neutrality with storage technologies, renewable fuels and CCU/CCS; TRI4 – Efficient zero emission heating and cooling solutions; TRI5 – Integrated regional energy systems; TRI6 – Integrated industrial energy systems; and TRI7 – Integration in the built environment. The 11 topics at Call are defined within these seven TRIs.
Created under the aegis of Horizon Europe, CETP aims to accelerate the transition to clean energies and contribute to the goal of climate neutrality by 2050, bringing together national and regional funding in Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RDI) for a wide variety of technologies and system solutions necessary for this transition.
An online information session will be held on September 12, which will cover the essential elements of Call, such as the topics to be supported by the various funding organizations, the main dates, documents, among others.
