Public Presentation and audition of stakeholders of the Crescimento Azul, Inovação e PME program

The General Directorate of Maritime Policy, as the operator of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism Program 2014-2021 (EEA Grants), is pleased to invite you for the Public Presentation and audition of stakeholders of the “Crescimento Azul, Inovação e PME” program, to be held at the Almada Negreiro Auditorium, Gare Marítima de Alcântara, June 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The main objective of this Program is to promote value creation and sustainable growth in the following areas: Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Research and Education, Scholarships, Literacy and Youth Entrepreneurship.
The stakeholder consultation aims to identify their needs in these areas, with a view to supporting the design of the “Crescimento Azul, Inovação e PME” Program.

To this end, we would like to assist you in answering the following two questions that will be asked at this meeting:

  1. What are the greatest opportunities for the country in terms of the economy of the sea and what kind of actions should be preferentially supported by the funding of EEA grants?
  2. What are the main constraints on funding, given the various instruments already in place to support the economy of the sea and how can these constraints be addressed?
