Arquivo.pt distinguished in the 2024 edition of the Navegantes XXI Awards

Arquivo.PT team receives Navegantes Award - "Best Central Public Administration Digital Project"

Arquivo.pt, FCT’s digital service, developed through FCCN, was one of the winners of the 2024 edition of the Navegantes XXI Awards. This is an initiative of ACEPI – Associação da Economia Digital (Digital Economy Association), created around the mission of promoting and developing the Digital Economy in Portugal, in all its different aspects.

Traveling back in time by searching and accessing web pages that have been archived since 1996 and are no longer available; this is the motto of Arquivo.pt, which, among all the projects on Call in the 20 categories of the Navegantes XXI Awards, was one of those recognized in this edition.

At the awards ceremony held on October 24 at the Técnico Innovation Centerin Lisbon, the FCT’s digital service won the award in the “Best Central Public Administration Project” category, standing out among the various Projects/Websites/Apps that were launched, functional or available in Portugal between June 2023 and June 2024. This category annually recognizes a project that has contributed “unequivocally to the development of the Central Public sector through the digital medium, as well as the Digital Economy in Portugal”, according to the initiative’s website.

The Navegantes XXI Awards annually recognize the most innovative and transformative Portuguese projects, ideas and institutions in the Digital Economy and Society in Portugal. Three Special Category Awards are also presented (outside of Call).
