Call of Studentships for Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe and East Timor
The FCT is launching Call to award Studentships PhDs in all scientific fields to researchers from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe – Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP) – and East Timor. This Call comes about in close collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in pursuing, on the one hand, a public policy of advanced training based on research with social relevance and, on the other, a policy of active collaboration in this training context.
Thirty Studentships PhDs will be awarded each year, distributed among the different countries: Angola (6 Studentships), Cape Verde (6 Studentships), Guinea-Bissau (6 Studentships), Mozambique (6 Studentships); São Tomé and Príncipe (4 Studentships) and East Timor (2 Studentships).
Call is open between November 22, 2023 and 11:59 p.m. (mainland Portugal time) on January 15, 2024.
