Applications are now open for the CMU Portugal Academy Advanced Training Program in Digital Technologies
In collaboration with the CMU Portugal Program, the CMU Portugal Academy – a center for advanced training in digital technologies in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Machine Learning, Product Management and User Experience and Service Design, has opened applications for its Advanced Training Program, which includes face-to-face postgraduate courses aimed at new talent and professionals with experience in other areas.
The deadline for applications is September 9, 2024 and each program has 30 places available. The first applicants will have access to an introductory bootcamp, covering the three topics, which will take place on June 21, 22, 28, 29 and July 5 and 6, during after-work hours.
Applicants must have completed a pre-Bologna degree – Bachelor’s or Master’s. Professional experience will be considered during the assessment process, and submission of IELTS/TOEFL results is optional.
The Programs will start in September 2024 and run until May 2025. They consist of 246 hours of classes, scheduled for Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Classes take place mainly at the ITI – Hub do Beato facilities in Lisbon, with some modules taught by professors from Técnico, FCUL, FCT NOVA, and CMU.
The CMU Portugal Academy is a collaboration between Instituto Superior Técnico, the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, NOVA School of Science and Technology, and Carnegie Mellon University. The CMU Portugal Program is part of a network of international cooperation programs between Portugal and institutions in various countries under the goPORTUGAL initiative – Global Partnerships in Science and Technology, promoted by FCT.
