EU Chips Act – European Chips Survey – to be responded until 20 March 2022
On 8 February 2022, the European Commission proposed the EU Chips Act. The proposal seeks to mobilise more than EUR 43bn of public and private investments, to help companies prevent, prepare for, and anticipate future semiconductor supply chain disruptions.
To help the Commission deliver this public support, a dedicated European Chips Survey was launched to help shape and guide financial and non-financial support. We are keen to hear the voices of Portuguese industries to ensure their needs will be adequately addressed.
The deadline for responding to the European Chips Survey (https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/EuropeanChipsSurvey) is the 20 March 2022.
All information collected will be strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
The European Chips Survey aims to gather information on current and future wafer and chip demand, as well as other industry needs. Responses to the survey will help European policymakers identify and target concrete actions, commitments and investments needed at the regional, national, and European level.
