Expansion of Open Science to be debated on October 25
FCCN, the digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology, is promoting the webinar “Open Science in Expansion: New Models, Evaluation and Open Data” on October 25th at 10:00 am.
Open Science is scientific activity carried out in an open, collaborative and transparent way, facilitating the sharing and communication of processes and results. With the aim of raising awareness and promoting Open Science practices among the community of researchers, science managers, students and the general public, this online event is part of the International Open Science Week celebrations and will include a review of what has been achieved in this field to date, as well as news and some indicators.
The session will also cover New Models of Scientific Communication, the Diamond Initiative, and the National Program for Open Science and Open Research Data, a measure integrated into investment RE-C05-i08 – Ciência Mais Digital (More Digital Science ) financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), as well as the topic of Research Assessment.
Participation in the webinar is free, but requires registration by filling in the registration form.
