The GPPQ, in partnership with IAPMEI and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN-Portugal), will organize an information session dedicated to funding opportunities in 2017 in the afternoon of June 8 (2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Under the Joint Technology Initiative on Bio-Industries (BBI) – call H2020-BBI-JTI-2017.
BBI is a public-private partnership established between the European Commission and the Bio-Industries Consortium (BIC). It aims to contribute to a more resource-efficient low-carbon economy by developing sustainable and competitive bio-based industries based on advanced biorefineries that sustainably source themselves.
This session, aimed at different types of stakeholders along biologically-based value chains (namely primary production and processing companies, SMEs, technology centers, research institutes and universities) will be an excellent opportunity for the national community to better understand this European initiative under Horizon 2020 and to learn about the funding opportunities offered by the 2017 Work Program.
In addition to a project officer from BBI JU, Paloma MALLORQUÍN, who will present the news of the 2017 contest and some guidelines on how to prepare a successful proposal, this event will also share experiences of participation of several national players already involved in funded projects By BBI in previous competitions.
