European Research and Innovation Week 2024
Research and Innovation Week 2024, organized by the European Commission and the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will take place from 18 to 21 March 2024 in a hybrid format, taking place in Brussels and online.
This edition marks the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Framework Programs for Research and Innovation and will include various activities:
- March 18th: Opening of R&I Week
- March 19: CIS 2024 Summit
- March 19-20: Belgian Presidency Conference on Innovation Procurement
- March 20-21: European R&I Days 2024
Throughout this week, the future of research and innovation and its contribution to the political priorities of the European Union (EU) will be debated, with particular emphasis on technological sovereignty and the EU’s competitiveness.
According to the European Commission, the program will include high-level political debates, funding opportunities and networking sessions, workshops, investor presentation sessions and exhibitions showcasing EU-funded projects.
