Fellowships in the scope of protocols and partnerships FCT
In order to ensure a response to societal challenges in thematic areas, FCT has signed several collaboration protocols, which support advanced training in partnership with institutions that promote or are dedicated to scientific research and technological development, with the aim of funding research work in cycles leading to a doctoral degree.
In order to ensure a wide dissemination of the scientific opportunities available to the largest number of interested parties, enhancing the transparency and predictability of the opportunities funded by FCT, we make available the Calendar of the Calls under protocols, to take place in 2023, which provides for the attribution of a maximum number of 482 Fellowships for doctoral research, directly attributed by FCT. The respective opening notices may be consulted in the EURAXESS Portal, as well as in the institutional pages of the protocoled entities.
These Calls run in a complementary way to the national Call of Fellowships for Doctorates whose Notice of the Call of 2023 is already available.
The process of evaluation and selection of applications associated with these protocols is the responsibility of the protocoled entities and the contracting, management and financing of Fellowships is the responsibility of FCT.
